Addison will do anything for her best friend. this includes join forces with Alec, a master four-star vampire to release her friend from the clutches of an evil, sadistic six-star vampire.

Trouble is, Addison cannot let her hatred or lust for Alec will get in her way..

I have a huge love for Vampires and Evangeline Anderson, so when I heard about this series, I was really excited and bought both books in the series.

Addison had a very strong character and at times, I was mixed pissed off at her and mixed in awe. She has spirit and spunk and doesn’t take any shit, but this gets her in trouble and at times I was shouting at the Kindle, but without her, I imagined the book would be very boring.

Now Alec, oh my dear Alec, at first he comes off as an arrogant dick whose only interest was himself, however, as the story continues, you find he is a compassionate merciful vampire. A complete rarity in a world filled with cruel, sadistic and brutal Vampires.

This is a story of love and sacrifice, of pain and pleasure.
