It’s a hot Sunday afternoon, and I am lazying in the garden, an ice tea in hand, listening to Southern Spirits by Angie Fox.
For some reason, a lot of paranormal romance happens in the Deep South of America; Interview with a Vampire, TrueBlood, Kate Daniels, Immortals of New Orleans, Dark Hunter Series.. to name a few.
In honour of the south, I thought I would post my Southern Undead Tea Recipe.
Southern Undead Ice Tea
- 3-5 Black Tea bags
- 2 cups of Lemon Juice
- 1 Cup of Sugar
- Lemon Wedges for garnish
- Hot Water
Find a pitcher that can take cold & boiling temperatures. Add the sugar, and the tea bags.
Pour the boiling water into the jug, and stir repeatedly until the sugar has dissolved. Leave the tea for a further 3 minutes, (leave longer, the stronger the tea)
Remove the tea bags, and add the lemon juice. Stir. Add to the fridge.
When cooled enough, add wedges of Lemon, and Ice.
